Our inspiring story

For 29 years, it has been my privilege to work with children and their families in various settings, including schools, Head Start, First Steps, and hospital and independent outpatient programs. I am specially trained in Beckman Oral-Motor therapy, SCERTS autism intervention, Hanen parent program, Social Thinking, Food-chaining (feeding aversion), SOS Approach to Feeding, Alternative Augmentative Communication (AAC), PROMPT apraxia therapy, and the Kaufman apraxia program.

 

I enjoy using this knowledge to help children reach their full potential, providing families with resources to further this progress. Each child has specific gifts, as well as needs, and it is my joy to learn about what makes them unique. Creativity and problem-solving are integral parts of my therapy techniques.

 

I started REACH Therapy, LLC in June of 2023 to address the service gap in my area.  Our name is an acrostic which communicates our mission:
