Our success stories

At REACH Therapy, LLC., every milestone achieved by our clients is a true success. We are incredibly proud to share stories of progress in areas like improved intelligibility, enhanced functional communication, better feeding skills, and more confident social interaction. These stories aren't just about therapy; they're about real children gaining their voices and connecting with the world around them. We believe these journeys offer a powerful message of hope for parents seeking support for their loved ones in Noble and surrounding counties.

"Jane could hardly speak and even my husband and I had a hard time understanding her.  She now speaks confidently, clearly, and her speech is improving daily.

Miss Kristin has an incredible breadth of knowledge in her field and continues her education. She is able to pick up on the smallest differences in speech and having a specific protocol for addressing it.

She is empowering, gives us clear guidance and direction, and is so sweet and kind to Jane and all of my kids.

I honestly don't know what we'd do with Kristin Hilbish in our support system for our daughter.  I praise God that He gave us such a wonderful speech therapist."

"After just the first 2 sessions I knew her methods were exactly what Aubin needed and that wewould want to continue with Kristin. She helped implement a well-rounded approach to speech.

From cheek, lip, tongue exercises and continued the feeding therapy Aubin needed - Kristin quickly helped Aubin graduate past those concerns. She used photo props, trying multiple tactic in such a fun playful - yet instructional way. The tools and how she uses them really helps Aubin practice how to produce and develop new sounds.

She helped Aubin add additional signs and continues to use the Sign Language in her communications with her.

Kristin has been a leading force in helping us know that AAC is an extra tool we want to acquire for Aubin, to help ease the frustration with the communication gap Aubin experiences as she is gaining more independence. She has helped Aubin learn about making selections on a device, which shows what Aubin really knows, without being able to vocalize things."

"When we first began with Miss Kristin my daughter Lilli had no verbal words and was 5 years old. Lilli struggled to even focus on any given task for a minute or two....in my eyes it seemed Lilli might never actually speak and that possibly speech therapy would be a waste of time! I had no idea how much a SLP actually does.

Miss Kristin was amazing, she found what motivated Lilli (which changes regularly) and started making progress. Initially she helped Lilli and myself become comfortable using our AAC device. She really included me in these lessons and Lilli really picked up what she was teaching her quickly...even on the days that seemed Lilli was not focused Miss Kristin changed things up and Lilli continued to learn and became quite good at communicating with her “talker”. During the same period Miss Kristin also did what I would call “waking up Lillis tongue and mouth” and helped her realized she could move it and communicate verbally.

The process, persistence, and patience that Miss Kristin uses has amazed me continually...I can tell she thinks about Lilli not just as a patient but as a unique individual who brings unique challenges and somehow her creative imagination always comes up with a way to keep my easily distracted daughter engaged and learning.

Within 1 year of starting with Miss Kristin, Lilli started speaking REAL words “purple eggplant” and “hot” were the first 2 I really remember, but I’m sure Miss Kristin knew they were coming before I did as she has always been a step ahead thinking of what’s next. Lilli is now almost 8 and speaking FULL sentences understood by most people!"

"Kristin Hilbish has worked with our son Joshua since he was 5 years old, who was diagnosed with autism the year before that. At that point in his life he couldn't talk, he was frustrated a lot and we couldn't figure out why. Once he started with Kristin, he started to understand how to communicate his needs, and eventually speaking the words of the things he wanted.

Kristin has worked with Joshua and with us as a family for the past 16 years and today.  While he still struggles with processing out what is in his brain, he now has the ability to speak what is in his mind. He can communicate back and forth with others because of Kristin's work with him and continual commitment to learn and figure out what she can do to help him and others."
